Philippe Raguenot Cremant de Bordeaux
A great example of the lighter, more refreshing side of Bordeaux.
Crémant de Bordeaux doesn't always get the attention it deserves, but this bottle from Philippe Raguenot is one we particularly enjoy. Made from 100% Sémillon using the traditional method, it has fresh citrus and white-fruit character, delicate floral notes and a lively, elegant finish.
It's wonderfully versatile and equally at home as an aperitif, with seafood or alongside a light dessert. For us, it's a lovely reminder that Bordeaux isn't just about red wine.
Our favourite pairing: oysters, smoked salmon or a simple plate of seafood...or even just a sunny day!
Why we like it: its refreshing, characterful and very easy to enjoy without being boring.
